When I first walked into LoveLuvo I just fell in love, the atmosphere is indescribable. One of my goals in life was to always work for a charity and/or social enterprise - I pinch myself daily that I got this lucky.

There are so many to choose from. My favourite part about working at LoveLuvo so far is connecting with the locals. Being new in such a big city can be overwhelming. Everyone is so lovely, chatty and supportive. I’ve learnt so much in such a short period of time. 

What is something that you have learned since starting at LoveLuvo?

How many businesses are actively trying to make a difference in the world. It’s really inspiring and hopeful so many people care about our planet and are actively trying to make a positive change.

Does Cruelty Free mean the same thing as Vegan?

No, and this is where the beauty and skincare industry can sometimes get it wrong. The terms cruelty free and vegan are often used interchangeably today, when in fact, they do not mean the same thing.

So, what does Cruelty Free mean?

In essence, cruelty free means that a product has been developed without being tested on animals. Wikipedia expands this definition, and states that cruelty free is a term used to describe “products or activities that do not harm or kill animals”.
